Position, approach

Abaújszántó is a town with 3500 inhabitants in Borsod-Abauj-Zemplén county, northeast 60 km far from Miskolc at the foot of the Mount Zemplén. It can be approached on public road, from the west on the road Nr.3, from the south from direction of Szerencs. It's railwaystation can be found on the railway connecting Szerencs and Hidasnémeti.
